My dad has always been a person who hears people. Whenever he talks to someone, he listens. He goes above and beyond to hear people, whether as a friend, a coach, a dad, or anything else. The stories that I remember most are of times he's been there for his players when no one else would give them the time of day, and I see that echoed in every interaction he has with anyone.
